Customer has purchased a used Mics 4.1 software, wants lines to ring on all sets and have call display. Can only get display on 1 set with 4.1. Purchased 6.1 software system only flashes and wont come up. Any suggestions. Supplier told me to take system apart and drain compasator, still does not work. Please help

You have to program all lines to Appear & Ring in order to see CID. Secondly you must have CI trunk card for that. Thirdly, you have to allow CID on each ext. in Telco Features and answer only after second ring.

Sounds like bad software. I had the same problem with a CICS upgrade. I had to have replacement software sent.

If old software had fiber card and this one does not, will that make a difference, also using same cartridge just different software.

Do you mean no 2 or 6 port expansion in slot 2? Make no difference and upgrade from 4.1 to 6.1 is straight forward by inserting Flash card in the Software cartridge. If you want to start new program I would suggest to do a Start up after system Boots up.
