Just want to know if others have experienced this; I installed a BCM50 rel 3.0 last week on Tuesday; had no problem for three days, then went back to finish on Thursday night and put in the latest patches.
Friday, and during the weekend, lines started to stay mounted. They have no outside redirection, either by a CCR tree or a Forward via a routing code/destination, or a voicemail ext. transfer, which are common causes.
I have a hunch one of the latest patches may be doing this, but to remove them I have to set the system back to factory default, which is long + I have IP sets at another site, so you get my hesitation.
Here are the patches installed:
-Smart updates 211-212; unlikely, out since November; -214, update to UBOOT; -215, update to CORE TELEPHONY, prime suspect -220, software management, mostly related to patch management.
THX
Yes, I'm a frenchie; have a problem with that?? Well, I do!!

And when you check the logs on the Call Pilot do you see anyone trying to complete an outbound transfer? As if someone has possibly hacked one of the mailboxes? When you press the line hung, what does it say on your screen? Same line every time, or does it freeze multiple ones? Your sure the Telco has COD programmed to the lines. You can prove this with your bix clip and toner to see the polarity toggle when the call hangs up.....
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol
