Is there a way to simulate line appearances on phones with a PRI, at least for incoming?

Customer replaced 12 analog lines with a PRI. They use it pretty much for incoming only. First day they are saying that calls are dropping or recalling, but I think it is because they don't see the call on thier phone when they transfer the call.

I tried my best to explain the differences. I think another point is that they transfer the calls to another switchboard through analog extensions in a hunt group. When the caller disconnects, the other switchboard does not release, so I think they use the Norstar phone to see how many callers are still connected.

I put the target line on the phone and figured out how to add multiple appearances, but when the cal is transfered, the call is removed from the phone.

Version is 7.0. Second switchboard is for a braodcast studio to take callers live on air.

PRI DID's are assign target lines. These can indeed be set to appear and ring on a set just like analog lines as you have done, but they are phantom appearances.

If you transfer the call it is no longer on your target line and it becomes available for another call and therefore goes dark.

You can try putting the T1 lines on the phone (lines 1-12) and see if they remain lit.

Thats it what I was 1st thinking, but when I selected line 01, there did not seem to be the options to assign or ring in line assignments.

Thank for your imput.
