Originally posted by martin: gem yeh i had a little phone support. got the d-pits enabled. ever since then i have not been able to get into it. it could be my cable w/ the radio shack null modem adapter on it. the customer is happy cause they went from no voice mail on an old strataxx with failing sets to this dbs w/ vm so it's mainly for my education i'm still messing with this install. martin
[This message has been edited by martin (edited April 29, 2002).] Perhaps i read this wrong but up until this point i thought we were talking about kxt or kxtd. But if your talking about dbs you need the gui interface manager with a software key to program from a termianl, window based. futhermore you can program from any 22btn set. on/off prog98, 9999, program ##. from ext 10,11 you only need the on/off prog ##. Strickly speaking from dbs40,72,96. Though i do think i remeber in the early day of dbs they had a program called "picas" i think which was a hyper-term, type app for programming.

I too noticed the "dbs" in your last reply but I kind of figured it was a KXTD when you said you had DPITs intgration.
