I have a TA624 system with a TVS50. Whenever comeone calls, the VPS plays, "Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening. Welcome to the Voice Processing System." and then it says my greeting. How do I get rid of this?
Second, how can I setup the extensions to forward to their mailboxes when the line is busy or no answer without having to go to each one and turn on the forwarding feature. I would also like for Night mode to take the caller directly to the extension's mailbox instead of ringing at the extension.

Htown, would you please shoot me the same info?
I have a customer with the same set up adn I was told that you have to manually fwd the phones to vm, but that pissed off the customer because now, every phone in the house with a DSS button for those phones blinks like a X-mas tree!
Also he has a doorbox (Viking or something)connected to a CO port and it will ring incessantly until you answer it on a phone.
Needless to say, halloween was a real bitch for this customer as he had to answer the the door AND the phone every 5 minutes!
Is there a timer of some sort I can turn on????? (I've got the night mode thing and the voice prompts things handled already) ------------------ Punch all Pairs!

Disable field 112 to stop all the flashing leds. Change out the doorphone to a Panasonic and it will time out. The TVS does not see a "company greeting" that's why your getting the canned prompts. The company greeting plays 1st then it is linked to the custom greeting, which it sounds as though your using. All you need to do is assign a split second of silence in the company greeting, probably # 1 and then it should link directly to your greeting. As for forwarding, that's only to have your "personal greeting" play after your Ext. has been selected and it's busy or you don't answer. Without forwarding the A/A grabs the call back and says "I'm sorry, no one is available to answer your call" to leave a message press 1. Jack, I would have sent you an e mail but you either did'nt put one in your profile or you chose not to have it available. Would you please take care of that? Thanks, Gem

Oops! Done.
I thought that putting "FXA" in program/hardware settings/dialing parameters got rid of the prompt to press 1 to leave a message.
As for the Door box....well that makes sense!
