Hi All, I hope some of you could offer some help and advice. I have recently installed a 624 3 CO 8 Ext system in our home/office. Its great and really like many of the systems features. However, there are a couple of things I can't figure out: 1. On the "home/house" side of the system I'd like to pick up selected extensions and automatically get an available CO - is this possible?
2. The main "Switchboard" unit is a KX-T7730, and the CID displays no problem, but we can't view history or store new numbers - are these supported features?
Thanks in advance for any information you think would be helpful.

At each "home" station press program, 1, 3 and the co you want to go off hook on. then press store. As for caller ID it will only automaticly log calls that are not answered. You'll have to set up log keys to manually log the numbers. As your profile is incomplete I sent an e mail to [email protected]Gem

To go of hook on an SLT (single line telephone)straight to a line, you will need to use "Pick-Up Dialing" To set it up you can dial 7429# from the phone and the to set the phone to use it dial 741# from the phone, 740# to cancel. If you want it to pick up a specific line use 81-86 for lines 1-6. Program 203 sets the amount of delay before it dials the access code and defualt for that is set to 5 seconds I think. If you lower this it can give the impression that it is directly picking up the line but it makes intercom call difficult as you need to beat the timer to dial intercom calls.
