I've been told the new 77 series phones lcd may not work on older rev kxta624 units. My rom version is Y591A 010122(m). Hope I've provided enough info. I'm looking to add 10 new phones at this site and possible tvs unit.

J, you've got mail.
the only issue I see is with the KXT7730 and the KXT 7735 sets.
the 7730 is good on versions 2 and higher and the 7735 is good on the version 4 and higher.

What he said --- but they will work on the old 61610 --- just not the 7735/36.

OK. Got the mail. It's now part of my official panasonic book. Pretty thin book. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

That system is a version 3 and if you want more Panasonic Tech. bulletins, just say the word.
We can fill that book real quick. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

Hi, I have a 624 with rom y501y 990325(m). Can someone tell me if this is upgradable and how this number relates to the software (dash) version? Is it #1, #2, #3, or what?

I think it's really wrong of Panasonic to make finding this information so damn difficult. What's the point, anyway?

I appreciate any knowledge anyone can give me. TIA.
