I have a KX-TD1232 system, when someone calls from the outside he hears the voice mail system and if he press 0 it goes to the front desk secretary. If she is using he phone at this moment the phone is still rings and she can switch line.
The problem is that if someone from inside of the company (internal extension) press 0 while she is on the phone he gets a busy dial.
Is there any way to program the Panasonic that when someone from inside will press 0 while she is on the phone it will ring her (like it rings when someone from external line calls) and she will be able to switch to this call ?
Thank you.

You need the system call waiting set, intercom, 7311. then when an extension calls and hears a busy they need to press 1 and that will send a call waiting tone. If it's a display set one of the soft keys under the display, (on the left) will read "BSS" you can also press this. Gem

Is there a way to make it automatic, I mean so tht a user wont need to press anything ?
For example maybe its possible to make that if an internal user calls 0 and its bussy it forwards him to a voice mail system (when a external user calls and its busy he hears music)

IS99, how about completing your profile for us? Is this a recent install? what version is the system and do have your manuals? You can set the operator station to forward to voicemail under busy or busy/no answer for the internal calls. press fwd/dnd, 5 165 and leave it on. as for incoming outside calls you should probably set up the auto attendant to answer after 3 or 4 rings.
