I do not receive caller ID info on my systems display phones. I have verified that it is active at the trunks by putting a CID device on the demarc of each trunk and making test calls. But I do not get it on the station ports. I have a caller ID module plugged into the first 3 x 8 card (main card). The manual tells me that it is automatic. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Tell the system which lines have CID on them through program 900. 901 is for your local area code. 904 is to set the 1st display to name or number. By default it's name. you can put caller ID indication and selection buttons on the phones. At each set press program, press a CO button, (one with a light) press 6 for an indication button or 7 for a selection button then press store. The selection button is used to switch between name & number when the call is ringing. If you press the indication button after answering the call it will log it on your set. Only unanswered calls automaticlly log. Gem

Thank you for your reply. I have programmed system options 900, 901, and 904 as well as user options 6 and 7 but still not joy. When I make a test call and then press the CID CO button that has been programmed, I get "New:000 Old:000". Any Ideas? Does CID require a specific Hardware/Software Revision? This unit did not originally come with the CID module, I purchased on and installed it on the main card. I have one expansion 3 x 8 that does not have the CID module on it but thoes extensions do not need CID.

Power the system down, reseat the card. Bring the system back up and check all your programming again.
What phones are you using?
