Have a residential KX-TA624 system. For some reason, one of the lines doesn't ring when receiving an incoming phone call.
It does flash and can be picked up, but it doesn't ring on ANY of the phones. So it's not a case of one phones being on night mode. The other lines do ring (and flash) on all phones.

Oh, and I should also note that it's not ringing line preference. I've checked that on all the phones. So it doesn't seem to be a individual phone issue, but something with the sytem.

Any ideas what this might be?

The answer to your question is that the phones have not been programmed to ring on that line.

The only thing we can offer you is user-level programming, so it will be a bit more time-consuming than installer-level programming:

If you have 77XX series phones, press the PROG button and dial 99 to enter programming;

If you have 70XX series phones, flip the SET/PROG switch on the rear of the phone to PROG:

Dial 3, then dial in succession the line numbers you want to ring, for example if you want lines 1, 2 and 3 to ring, then dial 123.

Press the AUTODIAL/STORE button to save this.

When finished, either press the PROGRAM button or flip the SET/PROG switch to SET to end programming. NOTE: You will need to do this at every phone in the system.

The 408-410 issue solved it... Hadn't gone through all the lines (had been doing jacks rather).

Thanks!

My reason for suggesting the end-user method for solving this problem was that the original post didn't include a complete profile. It is our responibility to regulate proprietary information here. Sure it is true that my suggestion was more complicated, but it is the only way that an end-user should be performing programming changes.

I thought I was working with an end-user who did not have access to the manual or programming skills. Many people coming here for Panasonic support are truly end-users who have been abandonded by their installer. I am glad it all worked out. That's what this place is here for!

not really the point, the install manual for the 624 can be found just about any where on the net for free, the point is we should not be giving this info out freely to end users especially if the help they are looking for can be done in the user programming mode. just my personal feelings.
