I have Panasonic TD1232 Phone system with TVS100 Voice Mail system. I have few issues if someone can help. 1) Sometimes when a caller leaves message, the message button doesnot light up on some extension, but when they get a second voice mail the button lights up. What can be the problem? 2) When a person calls another internal extension, we get option of going into voice mail or 0 to operator, is there a way we can get a option of selecting another extension to punch in, with 0 option to operator? 3) Some one told me this system needs to be rebooted every month, otehrwise it does not work properly, is it true? 4) and I have lost the user manual for thissystems, Can some one tell me how to download it.
Thanks Hoping for your co-operation

1.check that you can call all v mail ports 165 and 166 for 2 ports, 165 -168 for 4. May be set for multiple ports to turn on Messge, 1 port or more may be out or have problems. You shoud be able to call each port on the intercom. 2. On internal call if you get V mail and want another ext, either press another DSS key or hit Flash and dial another internal ext number. 3. It pretty old. The Hard drive may be on its last few hours. I would not turn it off unless I had to, it may not come back up. 4. Manuals are avalible on this site. Manual link at the top of every page.

Hello Mr Brokeda Thanks for your reply. The Flash button does work for transferring internal calls.
I tried dialing 165, 166, and 168 and they all go into my voice mails. They are all working. So what is the next step to check for the voice mail light not coming up.

I have had to delete and recreate mailboxes that were having message waiting problems. This was usually specific to individual mailboxes and not all mailboxes. Of course, you will have to rerecord all greetings and clear all messages before deleting.

Thanks for the information. I have one more question. If some one calls from outside and he presses an extension to get a person, and then he gets into his voice mail, and if the caller doesnot want to leave a message but want to try another extension how can he do this without pressing 0 and going to the operator.

Thanks everyone for your help, but my major problem is still the message light not coming on. If I go to voice mail and check the message it will tell me i have one new message but the light will be not on, as soon as I hang up without listening to the message the new message light came on. Please help if anyone knows how to resolve this.
