1) Call forward of internal ext to cell phone not working - receive dead air with no completion of call - programmed 9 1 area code and # with no spaces or special characters. Called the extension, display shows call forward in effect, but no ringing. 2) Is there such a thing as a night button? Need to program a flex button on receptionist phone so they can put phones in night/do not disturb mode and have voicemail pick up immediately, then be able to switch back on demand.

ES, how are you currently calling out? do you press 9 or a line button or just picking up the phone? It sounds as though the unused CO ports are not disabled.
2: Yes, you can set up a night button and set the night ringing assignments in the TA824 as DIL 1-1 to the 1st TVS port. MrG

Calling out is by dialing 9 or selecting a line button. I thought I disabled the unused CO ports 5, 6. I have 2 3x8 boards in the 824 and a TVA50. Thanks for the info, I'll be back on site tomorrow. ES.
