I have an ICD group setup that rings three phones and then needs to go to the mailbox matching the ICD Group.

The ICD group is number 2012 and the VM has a mailbox 2012.

Currently, if the call to ICD Group 2012 goes unanswered it forwards to 500 but it plays the auto attendant greeting, not the greeting for MB 2012.

From what I can tell, the problem lies with the fact that "Intercept To Mailbox" in the VM System Settings is disabled. The reason it is disabled is so that another application they are running will work. The problem is that with "Intercept To Mailbox" disabled, when the call forwards to VM it does not send the group number with it and so the VM system just plays the auto attendant greeting.

What type of work around is there for this? Any help would be appreciated.

Check if you have a mailbox 2012 setup on the voice mail unit and use overflow no answer to 500 in group settings

It sounds as if the overflow is alredy set so it must be no mail box 2012 set up. you will need a message waiting lamp on one of the phones ( or all phones) for mailbox 2012 as well

Sorry for the lack of detail. It is a KX-TDA 200 with a TVA-200 VM.

The group is setup okay and the overflow is set to 500. All three phones in the ICD group have a message waiting button for MB 2012.

I know the MB is working correctly because if I dial a phone number that is answered by the auto attendant and then dial 2012 it rings the group and goes to mailbox 2012. It is only when the receptionist answers the phone and transfers callers to group 2012 that it is going to the auto attendant if not answered instead of MB 2012.

Try setting Call Waiting Distribution to All on the Main group tab.
I have run onto times when a group would not work even when set up same as another group that does, change to new number and it works.

also in the group setup options on the tda200 go to Grp 2010 follow the sccreen accross and make sure the section for mailbox number assigned to the group is set as 2010

In the US that field is for DTMF VM Intergration only.
