Help! We've a kxtea308 with a voicemail card, everything seems to be fine but I cant make the voicemail card work!
We have 5 extensions with KXT7730 phones all of which are configured to be in the same group (pretty much the default options throughout). I then use the time delay for ringing so that the reception desk rings first then after a pause the others ring.
This set up works fine but what Id like to be able to set is that if, after say a minute no one has answered then it goes to voicemail! Thats the bit I cant do.
I know the card works as in our "nightmode" we route all calls to voicemail and that works fine.
Can anyone help with how to send all calls after say a minute to the main voicemail (or the voicemail of the reception phone)
many thanks!
Ian

The problem is that you can not send a call to voice mail on that system when more than one phone rings. What you could do if you have line 3 spare loop a spare extension to line 3 and set it to dil ring to main phone and have the main phone forward to voicemail on busy no/answer, or any phone you want the message left at
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
