The td 816 works fine but put a kx-tg2622al cordless phone on it and its playing up. It works fine directly on the pstn and voip lines but once on the the system I get a lot of extra sidetone(feedback) the person on the other end does not notice it. Its only at the system end. Is this normal or is there is something I can program to turn it down.

1. make sure the digital pair of wires are not connected inside the wall socket. 2.use the port in xdp mode 3 make sure the flat flex from the portable is a single pair of wires
it often happens that fax machines and modems have problems when connected to the KXTD for the above reasons
