Our admissions dept has a TD1232 system, using
7230 phones. I've received three complaints
in the past month that the phone wouldn't ring.

Turned out ringer had turned off ( display read
"RNGOFF"). Users swore they never touched
that button. (in some cases it happened over the weekend). And, I can't imagine how they
could have accidentally done it either...

I was hoping someone here may have more experience
with this...

Any ideas?

Thanks,

DrP

Either someone is playing games and/or the cleaner is doing it accidently.
I have seen both.
I have never seen or heard of this happening on its own.

I agree with Mr G, never on its own. If the phone is ringing and you press volume down button, it can turn off the ringer, you dont have to press the ring button and then volume controls. Happens all the time
