2005Tee The KX-TA 308 is not expandable 3 CO by 8 extensions, that's it. You may have an older TA624 or the KX-TA824 As for the "pulse only" expansion card, never heard of that with Panasonic although I'm only familiar with the USA versions. MrG
We have a troubleshooting guide in the manual. Try checking to see if the DTMF receivers 3&4 are enabled and either enable or disable them. I think you can disable them both and force the system to use 1&2 but I don't know. Never had to try that.
MrGemini, I'm sure KX-TA308 can be added 2 expension card. I had already added one card (KX-TA30877, 3co+8ext), so total 6co+16ext, and that card only support pulse ext. I can dial phone only when I switch my phone to pulse. There is no setting in KX-TA308, i think, so the problem is the card. I've found another card and PSUP1195ZA-WM printed on it. The problem card in my hand has PSUP1195ZA printed on it. There is no description and documantation about different between those two models. Any helps are appreciated.
Carl Navarro, thanks for advise. The probelm card is ext 9 to 16, so DTMF-R 3 and 4. With DTMF-R 3&4 off, busy tone hear. With DTMF-R 3 or 4 off, same with 3 and 4 enable, hear free tone but can't dial. Thanks for any advise.
Over here the old kdta 308 was the same as the 624, could be expanded. the new kxtes 308 is not. I never heard of pulse dial only, sounds like r3 and r4 is faulty. It says in the manual to turn off one at a time and check them one by one. sounds as if you have a faulty card. was it new?
