Installed my 1st tda100 with a tva50 last week.
For paging the customer has a page pac 6 with trunk adapter ( AT&T ).
The only way I could make the paging work is by using a co port, but there is a pause when you push the co line (about 7 sec.). I believe that it because the page pac is looking for a contact closure. So if I can't get the pause to go away.
I am planning to replace with a bogen 15 watt amp.
So my question is can I get the pause to go away or should I just replace the page pac.

I would go with the Bogen, like the TPU series.
Keep in mind that the pagepac speakers or horns are probably 45 ohm voicecoils.

I have used the TPU series many times....it gives you everything in one unit. Nice!

But you said you are using a CO port....seven second delay.....hmmmmmmm....what about this issue...sound familiar?

With the TPU you won't need a CO Port, just use the page out jack.

Most of the PagePac's we're designed to work with AT&T many with a modular plug. Normally in addition to the audio pair (middle pair) there's also a contact closure needed (outer pair). Simply short the pair and the PagePac will work like a Bogen.
