I have a customer (that I inherited) that thought they could clear their msg light by clearing it all (pgm-##-store-store-pgm).
Now I have to get him his phone to pick up an outgoing line when he goes offhook (instead of Intercom), and program his fwd/dnd light.
Any tips? I only have keyset programming access, until I can get my hands on the programming s/w.

For the idle line pick-up "Program 191 Store"
Your FWD/DND is "Program 50 plus one of the following (1 DND, 2 + number for all calls, 3 + number for busy, 4 + number for no answer, 5 + number for busy/no answer.
You can also do the following using the LCD display if the phone has it.

Try pressing Intercom then the Message button, it should call the phone that lit the message light, once the called phone is answered, the light should go away.

Pressing the message button and transfer should clear them 1 at a time or clear if you have the 7630 or above
*700 plus ext number will clear light either
