I need to call forward an extension to an outside Cell number. CFWD works on Ext to Ext but not outside line. I checked programming for COS, Pooled trunks and system speed dial. at the extension I dialed "on/off, 720, auto, speed dial bin number.nothing seems to work?

Look under trunk programming for unsupervised trunk conference.

Thank you Phonemeister, I checked the unsupervised trunk conference. I also checked conf timer, speed dial number. I have a copy of the programming manual and checked everthing I could think of. Anything else I can check?

Some SW does not allow 720 to outside line. Must use 723. 723 Fwds only inside calls.
Does the speed dial work as as speed dial? Is the trunk access code included?

It is 723 to FWD to the outside. Also there is a setting in FF3 for ext unsupervised conf.

The one I have 723 FWDs inside calls only to outside number and 720 will not allow speed input. I have a couple of newer ones that allow 720 plus speed. The book does not mention software levels, just that some systems will not allow 720 plus speed bin. Is this programmable?

I believe it is a function based on the SW revision. I just realized he was talking about an 824. I was looking in the other DBS manuals for the 40/72/96. Not sure if there is a difference between them as far as fWD'ing is concerned, but I will look and see.
