Howdy all. Added a KX-TD7695 to an 848 system. It's the only PS/CS on the system so far. The marketing literature said these phones will work with paging. I added the PS, but it doesn't announce pages. Same COS as the PT's on the system which all page fine. What am I missing? Thanks.

As far as I know, none of the PS's can recieve an all page. Supposedly, Panasonic is going to release them with Page built in sometime soon.

I remember the kx-td7896 cordless phones could recieve all pages, and I always wondered why these top of the line phones could not. Hopefully soon we'll have that.

They can receive Voice Announce intercom, but after a 2 ring delay. Set on Auto Answer + ON.
This is for direct ICM calls only. No All PAge.
As Astro said 7896 gets full Auto Answer and receives All Pages.

But they have the best cordless solution out there. I don't believe I have seen any other system cordless that receives pages like the 7896 from any manf.
The cell phone could receive pages I guess, but limited to the number of paths available on a given cell station.
If there is a way to disable it would be in the Tones section of the Phone Menu. Just have to look.

Maybe try disabling message waiting notification, but then I don't think you'll get the envelope on the screen.
