I have a Panasonic KX-TA824 phone system and a KX-TVA50 voice system.

There is one extension (105) and when you call the main number, then enter the extension it immediately says "Sorry, no one is available to answer the call. To leave a message press 1, call the operator press 0, to enter another extension press *." It should ring at the desk and then go to the users voicemail box if she doesn't pick up. I don't see anything different in this extension or vm box parameters from all the others, and I had her do a phone reset (INTERCOM, 79#) to clear the do not disturb and call forward settings. I'm not sure what to do next.

Any help you can offer would be truly appreciated.

Thanks!
Melissa Fairchild

could be a fwd to alternative extension set in the mailbox that does not exist.
I had it happen before.
might be easier to delete the mailbox of 105 and make a new one

Sounds like "Call Blocking" is enabled in the mailbox. This is a feature that prevents a caller from ringing a telephone. The "incomplete call handling status" is why the "sorry no one is available to ...." prompt is heard.

If it is call blocking, go into the mailbox, call transfer status, call blocking, and disable it.

Or as OBT says, delete the mailbox, and recreate it.
