I'm getting a Parameter error MSG when I try and download info from a TD1232 R3 with my PPD1232 software. It works fine on a R6 KSU. Any ideas
BTW it does show that I'm connected as well.

you need the r3 tool, extra options in r6 and is getting an error because it is not receiving them from r3 system

OK OBT can you tell what Version I am looking for. So far all we have here at the shop is V1.04 and that's what is on the BTS site.

Thanks

Goldenhtr, on the KX-TD 1232 the programming software is backwards compatible.
Version 6 programming should work on a version 3.
You are referring to the DOS software and not the windows correct?
You do know that you can also program that through a display set?

If using Xp, sometimes there are connection problems. There are settings to work with in additional settings. See the the help, (F4), in the DOS tool.

MrG we are using the windows version. But also tried the DOS as well and still got the same error. Both work fine on the V6 KSU. Yes we ended up using the phone to fix the problem. The thing is I would like a backup, as we want to upgrade them to a TDA. Then I can at least read what they have now for programing off site while I build their new system.

Tinker with timing in Additional features for XP,
this usually works for me. The port may be bad also.
