Can some one give me a hand, I am running a KX-TDA 50 behind another PBX, I would like to set the system up so it dials 9 to access an out line before sending out the number dialed by the user.

Your needs will require technician level programming. Sad to say, we cannot provide that info. Although you 'may' know what you are doing, most readers here don't and could easily hose their systems with one keystroke!  Hopefully someone will contact you via PM and help you out.Note that there may be a monetary charge. You may want to support your local provider!)

If your a tech and have access to the console,
look at Pickup Dial or ARS.
Pickup dial would have serious detriment to the use of Intercom but you could try it.

We do not get into tech programming in the open forum other than give you a general idea of where to look, or a hint as to what you should do. There are no walkthrough's or specifics allowed in the public forum. We have a private installers category that you can apply for permissions for if you meet the criteria.

Disaronno on Ice ars is a catch 22 in your case if you enable it you will still have to dial a 9 devote some flex buttons for local calls and long distance exp 9p9 9p8x 9p9p1 9p9p1xxx- these are user level things that will simplify dailing!
