Here's a guide: https://www.voicesonic.com/panasoni...s/KX-T123230D_Operating_Instructions.pdf

• Set the switch on the back of the phone to "Program"
• Press the CO button you want
• Dial 009
• Press "Auto/Memory"
• Flip the switch back to "Set"

make sure line 9 is enabled in system program 400 / and it has a button assigned to it on each phone / programs 603 to 606 should programmed for access and ringing also
if you have the co line expansion card installed in any position other than the bottom that would need to be programmed also / make sure that the co is plugged into the correct spot in the expansion card

Was the expansion card (KX-TA123280) installed or did your nephew install it? What kind of telephones? Section 400 deals with CO lines and each line must be checked as connected. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: post above resolves. Thanks allcalcomm.

thanks for all the help, and fortunatly, i had a
old panasonic up in the junk rooom, and determined
the system is only equiped with 8 lines and 16 stations, so he needs to tell the guv he needs to
upgrade the system or get one that works, that would take one of us old union guys. lol.. my nephew, called on his way home and told me the guv
was sitting there when he walked out... and told him the system was needing upgraded, that might cost him 8 pecent wage hike... thanks again for all the help ..... wrxs in illinios.
