What's everyone using now for a CSU to put in front of the TDE/TDA line? I'm having a hard time finding the 3rd Gen Adtrans with a working power supply and don't really want to spend $500.00 or more for one.

Well since no one else is posting =) Figured I would give an update. I found an old power supply sitting around for an IP phone and turns out it's 48VDC just like the Adtran Ace needs so I spliced the end on a viola working CSU.

That is an interesting fiddle. Did you mean to write "...so I spliced the end on and voila a working CSU" perhaps?

I will not try to figure out all the acronyms in your communique. It is intersting that the power supply for a VOIP phone would be 48v. I think most of the newer ones use 5 volts. Of course a lot of telecom equipment accepts 48 volts DC power. This is the voltage of the batteries in the telco central office, so it became a standard to power the equipment found in racks there. Note this is DC not AC.
