I have a customer with a tde 100. The problem i have is that when the operator is on the phone, and she gets a call from an internal Person the call is busy, They want it to ring so she can get them. Has anyone ran into a simular thing? i need some help

turn on call waiting ext and co on ext 0

and make sure that 0 is only set to forward to voicemail on a no answer!!

I had that on a tde600, and they did not want to have to press a second key for internal call waiting so what I did is made a icd group and called it operator, set the operator extension (under system>operator) to that group number, set call waiting distribution to all. set call waiting on the operator extension. it will bleep and show on the display.
As for external calls the call waiting as Kxtvet said will solve that as well

you can make CW automatic.

you can for co, but not for internal call

You can set automatic call waiting for intercom calls under system options, by default it's disabled. Later versions of tda, and most versions of tde/ncp.
