We have a Digital BX 8/18 with MPD, OCD, COL, and ELD cards. It appears the system is wired for 4 CO lines and that is what we are using. I need 8 CO lines. Do I have the capability now, or, what do I need for the additional lines?
Thanks in advance,
John

Yes you are fine to add 4 more, the COL is an 8 line card.

So what is required to enable, or how do I check if the additional 8 lines have been enabled? On the punch down block four CO lines are enabled, but this is all I can locate initially.
Thanks again for your help!

You would have to look at you system config file and fire you next 4 co ports up, I'm assuming by your last post you don't have the programming software.
