My company has fired its last four receptionists and with them has gone all the corporate knowledge about how our Telrad Digital 400 system works!! frown
The temp on our front desk is missing loads of calls because she does not know how to pick up a second call. We followed the instructions in the Executive Set with Expanded Display Guide that I have, but that didn't help. When she has a call on line 1 and gets a call on line 2 the set bleeps to let her know there is another call coming in on line 2. She presses the hold button to put line 1 on hold but then cannot access the incoming line 2 call. :bang:
On our fallback set in the administrator's office, as soon as she pushes hold her phone rings to allow her to answer the second call. :p
Help!! My boss was dropped three times during this farce and he is getting quite upset!! mad

Onces she puts the call on hold, Just hit the off hook switch. If it's an Attendant postion hit the answer button again. To tell if you have an Attendant postion you will see CW00 in the right hand conner of the display when the phone is idle.

The big question is how is the ringing setup. If the recept is a PBX station does she have enough DR keys? Could be float keys or Trunk apperance or even a MDN group. If the phone is set as attendent console you will not here a ring for 2nd call just the CWxx will display call waiting in que.
