Some of the message no. are set to S119 but don't play anything. What is the difference between a message that begins with an S (S119) vs a normal message (0100). How are they recorded?

You don't record S*** Msg's. There are System MSG's. 0100 is a App Genratore MSG's that the Customer records for opening Main greeting.

What version is the voicemail?
To record App Gen MSG's (0100). dail the VM access code. Then # and admin mailbox, the password, 4,6, then the MSG number.
