I've managed to wreck my office TVSE by loading 3.43. I followed the manual and used WinSCP361 instead of Putty. There seemed to be no problem executing upgrade.sh but now;

1. I can't use the Web Portal
2. The Linux cmd line has changed to blue [DATE][root@TELECOMHELP_TVSE:~]#
3. IP phones can't load the config file, Error ID=0x7

My Linux skills are woeful, can anyone please advise?

Cheers Andy

Do you have the correct U62 chip on the TVSe, 2.7? And E2E3.12 on the IPeX/MPD2?
We have a new software level for both released last week E2E3.13, but you need the following.

In conjunction with the release of AdvanceIP 3.13 the following new versions should be implemented at the time of upgrade to insure proper operation of the AdvanceIP system.

eManager program version 3.1.0.8
IPEx 1 / IPEx 2 / MPD 2 firmware chip U62 version 5.0
TVSe software version 3.48
TVSe firmware chip U62 version 3.0
ULD firmware chip U34 version 2.05
ONS / HONS 2 firmware chip U11 version 4.2
Avanti station firmware (Release 1 phones) version 0BD2
Avanti station firmware (Release 2 phones) version 10D3
Avanti add-on unit firmware version 0471
Avanti Softphone 1.3.9.0

I would really call Telrad on this directly. They can do a Beam Your Screen session and probably fix your problem remotly as long as you can still putty in.

Your can try and run the
chmod 700 upgrade.sh
Then the
./upgrade.sh
From the Root Directory again.

But this looks like it's over my head.
Also make sure your up to date as SSphones posted above.

Good Luck

We've only just got the 3.12 release.
I'm using the UK latest 3.1.0.6 eManager.
IPEX2 U62 is 1.6, I'm looking to upgrade this next.
The latest UK TVSE version is 3.43

I'm guessing my problem is the Linux code, as I no longer have the line prompt 'bash-2.05#'

I've got another query, I bought an IPEX2 Emagen and we haven't the changed t3adm password! Any idea what the process is to fix this?

Hi Andy
are you still able to connect to the card with winscp3 ? if so you should be able to reload Release.zip and the upgrade.sh file and then run chmod if you dont have the file im sure it can be got from somewhere ??
as for the ipex been using 3.13 for a while also emanager 3.1.0.8 latest version of tvse is 03.48.00 you can upgrade the firmware tvse with
sw ipc_00_30_hex you can load this with the software download program included in advance ip
