I have a Telrad system I'm trying to get into and don't know what I need. I can connect to the MAP port and print stuff out but can't really manage the system. It dose have an Ethernet port between the MAP and serial db9. Can I use a web browser or do I need special software. FYI I don't know a thing about Telrad and is sitting in my shop, I just want to learn something new. I would appreciate any help.....

You need software regardless the version. Do you know what version you have? Should be on the memory card if it is older or the control card will be labled on the tab as MPD2 or IPEX on the newer cards. Software and passwords are proprietary and you need a dealer to get those.

Careful once you start playing with the system and get a bit of knowledge on it you're going to wonder why every customer doesn't have a Telrad, or every interconnect sell them.
