I have a customer that has a Toshiba 424 with an A processor in a single cabinate. He has 4 PDKU RCOU, RCOUS and a Stratgy inskin. He wants to add a telephone but the processor is full. If i just upgrade to a B processor is that enough or will I be over my power factor with 5 PDKU RCOU RCOUS and a Stratagy in a single cab. Thanks for your help

Even with a "B" Processor, you are at capacity for the base cabinet. There are only 6 slots available. You are using all 6. In order to add a PDKU, you will need an expansion cabinet, Power Supply and "B" Processor. I am assuming that not all 32 digital ports are in use. How many VM ports are programmed? You are only allowed 32 station ports on an "A" Processor.
I think any of us would be happy to help with power factors if you can provide some more detailed information.
My mistake I have 3 PDKU RCOU and RCOUS and 2 ports on the stratagy in slot 5 so I have one spare slot but I think that I won't have to add the expansion cabinate as long as the power factor is alright. Thanks again
Don't worry about Power Factor if you're not using older Electronic telephones. It's pretty difficult to exceed the limitations. You should have no trouble adding the additional telephone. If you like some over the telephone help, please drop me an email.
