Hi all, I have several issues. Here is the low down.

System:
Strata DK 40 with a dtmf card
Expansion cabinet with 2 KCDU1’s
Stratagy DK 8 port VM with Stratagy Admin on pc

Brief History: This system was purchased off E-bay, and when received, the VM never worked. It had several problems (Hard drive, eeprom, eeprom checksum). I sent it out to be fixed and walla! It came back working fine.

I have ports 0-15 being used for the 15 phones on the grid
I have ports 16-23 for the Voice mail

Now for the problems:

Problem #1
Usually, you press Int 0 to get to the greeting and hit the * key and the system asks for your mailbox, well…..The system only responds to the * key on the first 4 ports (ports 16-19, extensions 26-29) If I try hitting the * key on ports 20-23 (extensions 30-33) the system acts as if I never hit the * key at all, it just goes on with the greeting.

Problem #2
I set my distributed hunt group up to extension 900 with all 8 voicemail ports on it, but when I pick up a phone and dial INT 900 it gives me a busy tone and reads “All lines Busy” with “ACB” near the bottom of the display. In fact, the minute I hit INT 9 it does this I don’t even get to press the last two zeros for 900

Any and all help is much appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!!!

Problem 1 can be fixed in program 31.
Problem 2 is user error. DHG 900 is extension 850 by default.
Are you trying to program without a programming manul?

No, I have the manuals. It's just that, well... I have NEVER programmed a phone system in my life!! LOL I had to learn it quick and hard. I am a computer geek not a phone geek. Thanks for the info.

Ohh P.S. If I dial extension 850, it says "850 Vacant" with a busy tone But I tried 851 and it calls somewhere in the VM system

Awesome, it all worked, I put the 8 ports on the voicemail to hunt at 900 which is interal extension 850. BUT!=......now that I used program 81 to dial 900, I can not hit intercom 0 [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com] When I hit Intercom 0 it says "0 Vacant" The only way I can get around this is to hit int 850. I would really like my int 0 back :'(

0 should be used for the operators box.
if you want a button prog a speed dial for your dist hunt group. i know you are trying to do this on the cheap but you need help not just on the board. phone support works very well for most people then you will be done.

If this is your first phone set-up, you sure picked the wrong manufacturer. Toshiba is not an easy beast to program.
Save your hair and your sanity, call one of the Toshiba moderators, SSPhone, Martin, Keukavly, etc.. Pay them to help you get set up over the telephone.
