Hi,

I am looking for a bit of guidance on how to activate the auto attendant part of the Stratagy voicemail.

We have the Stratagy DK voicemail system installed in a Strata DK280.

I understand that the autoattendant is built in to the Stratagy so I need to find out how to activate it.

What we want it to do is very simple (at this stage).
We just want it to answer all incoming calls on our main number when the office is closed to notify people that we are closed.
We have the Stratagy admin software installed on our laptop conencted to the voicemail card, ready to go.

Simply record a company greeting in MB 990, instructions in MB 991. Then program all of your lines to ring the VM in night mode.

Good Luck

I have my greetings recorded in mailbox 990 and everyone heres these when they dial 555 to get to voicemail but I need external callers to hear this greeting when they dial the main number but I do not know how the main number is presented on the system so that the greeting can answer these calls.

i usually would say phone support is cost-effective but maybe not in your case. your
sta's should cf to 850. program dist hunt in your nite mode and your home free.

our main number rings on the 2 phones in Reception.
Both these phone handsets are 2020-SD models and both have a night servive button on them but when this is pressed on either one, nothing happens so it looks like the function for these keys is not set/programmed.
I want the calls that come in on this main number to go to the night greeting recorded in mailbox 990 as soon as these handsets are put into nightservice.

Any ideas ?

Many thanks

put the numbers(vm ports) in a distributed hunt group 900(850).you have manual?
if you are unable to do that you also could use voice hunting. not sure of prog num (30 somthing). then use 81-89. i have found using disstributed hunt for the voice mail seems to clear up intermittant misbehavior by more than one stratagy that i have worked on. do you have other duties than getting this sys running? m

no, there are other things we will probbaly want to achieve next year but right at this point we only need to get the 'office is closed' message working for calls ringing in on the main number, which rings at the reception handsets.
