Guess what I heard today? Toshiba headquarters in Japan has an Avaya switch because they have capacity for 2200 IP phones.

Panasonic in illinois uses Avaya as well because of the size. Pretty funny eh?

A year ago I was on site. They use a Nortel for their main system. However, if you call any phones in telecom department they are handed off to a CTX via QSIG...
The Toshiba site in California is a few blocks, they are in the small/mid telephone system market, not insanely large
