Boy AM I glad to have found this forum!
I have what I think is a simple problem. We have a small DK40i System with 4 DKT sets and 2 Standard Telephones (cordless).
The problem comes when a call is answered on a DKT and placed on hold. Then the person with the cordless needs to pick up the call on hold but I can't figure out what the access code or key presses needs to be to pick up the call....
I have looked through all the Settings and manuals but I can't find it. One of the manuals says that using 7001 to 7012 should get that line, but I just get the busy tone. If the line is free then dialing #7001 picks up the line but not when on hold.
So Either I need key sequence to grab the line or I need to use some program to allow that station to get the line....
Thanks for your help!

You're right, its easy.
You have to know the extension numbers.
Ext. 201 (DKT) puts a call on hold...... Ext.301 (SLT) dials #5#201 to get the call. #5 is the pick up code. You can do this from any phone. If you know the call is on line 1, then dial #5#7001. (Line 2 is #5#7002, etc.)
Here's the BUT!!! If a call starts to ring in on ext. 201 at the same time 301 is picking up the call on hold, 301 will get the ringing call. The System has in place a priority list, where ringing calls take priority over held calls.
Its all in the book someplace!! E-mail me if you need more help.

Load a system speed dial like speed dial 60. Load it as #5#700. Then to pick up a call that is on hold on line 2 dial *60 2 The other option is call park.
