Was called 2 weeks ago to service a DK280. They had 1 cabinet--4 lines, about 6 DK2010's & 1 2020SD. Line 4 was not ringing immediately but was ringing in only after customer heard about 4 rings. I check programming--all OK. I repunched some jumpers that were loose---then reset the system. The ring was normal. I recommemded a UPS. Today, they call again and it's doing the same thing. I went out and reset the system--also resetting all the cards. Ring tested normal. Tested 4 or 5 times. The only thing I can see that is differennt about line 4 is that the burglar alarm is on that line. Any ideas??

I would move the alarm to a B1 line off the system. I've seen them cause spooky problems. If you're nor comfortable moving it, ask the customer to call the alarm company. I know that sounds real basic, but the alarms shouldn't be connected to rotary lines in the first place!
