Hello,
I have one question we have DK 280
and 13 Hunting group lines connected to the PBX.and one MAIN phone we use for the office to recieve calls then calls get transfered trought VM
When user from inside dial out the Display on the receiver caller ID's phone shows another number than our main number.we wnat it to show the MAIN Number instead how do i do that with the Toshiba DK 280

Call the phone company and have them associate your main line info with your other lines, that way no matter which line calls out, caller id info will show it came from your main line.

Thanks for the answer i just called the Phone provider verizon they say it is a programing issue not from their end is that true.any guidance

Tell Verizon they are smokin' crack. Junkman is right. The number that shows on someones caller id box is a function of the carrier. The DK280 cannot transmit caller ID digits over a copper trunk. Verizon can program each line to show whatever they want!

Side note....upgrade to CTX with a PRI...then each station in the system can be programmed to show a different number!! Cool, huh? [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]
