I've been away from Toshiba for several years and just recently inherited service on an old VIe and a CTX 28. Any old timers out there that can give me a history on the CTX and if it is still manufactured? Any unusual or odd things about them other than the usual Toshiba? Thanx, KLD.

Wow, you have been gone a while! The CTX 28 is a brand new animal. Forget everything you ever learned about programming a Strata DK!! You will need a laptop with WIN2000 or XP-PRO.....and the WinAdmin software. The CTX has basically 4 models. The CTX20 (the baby); CTX100 (112 Ports); CTX670 (670Ports); and the CIX IP Enabled rack mount 192 ports. e-mail me if you have more questions. Dan ------------------ fingerlakestelecom.net

V --- thanx and Yes I last worked for a Toshiba dealer in '92. It is a fairly new install but the installer messed up where and how he installed. The warranty is up, it was sold as used, etc. etc. etc. Once again Thanx. KLD
