I have a customer with a dk280 with a b r2 processor. There is a PEPU card in the last usable slot on the expansion cabinet. I want to add a piou for remote mtce. Will the 2 cards conflict with each other. The pepu card is set as the amp for the speakers.

I take it you want to swap out the PEPU with the PIOU? Sure, no problems there. If you want to have both, I believe the card assigned in the lowest slot controls the paging. But I wouldn't think you needed both cards since the PIOU will do both paging and remote maintenance.

You need to make sure what is hooked up to the PEPU, if only one pair for paging then you can sway the cards out. You can't have two I/O cards in the same cabinet ..except the multi port I/O that goes in the first slot.(Rssi)?
