Hey gang, a while back (April)I posted about using 2 AA greetings on a 2-port flash. Going ahead finally but I can't get the CO line to ring the PHDN and forward properly. 2 sets have the PHDN (52), one is the owner, call forwards to vmailbox 52 fine but not if both sets are to ring, only if one rings. I set the line ring on both sets for immed Day 1. I've attacked prog's 81-89,*80,39,*81 etc. The CO is copper if it matters. Any ideas?

I did the *81 program already (line 005 points to 502) and no change. The only way the sets ring with a CO call is with them prog'd in 81. The sets will ring when you dial intercom 52, the assignment for PHDN 502.

You need to do both *81 and 81.

The problem is when I prog the two sets with the PHDN to ring on line 5, the calls no longer forward to the maibox for 502 (52). This no doubt is because the system won't forward a ringing CO call if more than one set rings. So now...I...??

That's what *81 is used for.

If you use *81 it will work I just tried it, use 81 to have line 5 ring the two phones,in *81 set the PHDN as the data for that line 5 (005), set one of the phones as the owner of the PHDN , *33 , call forward the PHDN at the owners to voicemail , don't forget to do the 656,657 codes , on the PHDN.

OK I'll go back and review the settings as listed as I am pretty sure I performed all of them but maybe got something upside down. I'll do a reset as well. Thanks gang, I'll post again.
