I am installing 2 pri's on ctx670. Both will be inbound and outbound did's. The first pri works ok, the second the status light stays solid. I can make calls outbound on the second PRI. No incoming, I get messesage that says number can not be completed as dialed. Telco says of course not there problem. The each phone has pl1 keys. How do I program the second pri to route inbound calls to the ext.>>>Should the status light on second pri blink???...
thanks for your help.

Look closely at the status light and let us know which LED is lit.

As far as I know, the PRI is up when you have one blinking blinking, and none solid.

You program all the DIDs? How about the DID intercept?

Since he said he has 2 pri's, only one of the BPTUs should have a flashing sync light to indicate that it's receiving primary clocking. You will have one solid LED if any of the b channels on that BPTU is in use. But there are other status LEDs that might be solid which usually indicates a problem.

You may want to check to see if you have the second PRI in the ILG along with the first one. I do think there may be wiring problem if you have a one LED on the second card. If its an LOS light, 9 times out of 10 it is a wiring issue.

Do you have a "D" channel on your 2nd PRI?
or are you clocking from the primary only? Have you tried swapping circuits?, PRI cards?

I can help with some of the questions above as I have been working with batman on this. I sold the job and since then have switched Toshiba dealers, but I am still in the loop on this one.

Both PRI's have a D channel - they aren't sharing one. All the DID's are programmed. I'm not sure of the slots they are in becasue he had to move some cards around to accommodate for the specific slots they could be in. One issue he did have was he couldn't remove the caller ID cards from card assignments. Could this be an issue?

He is on vacation this week but should be viewing this early next week.

have to remove all program data assosiated with the caller ID cards, then remove them.Set 2nd PRI to use a different OLG ,set up access code for new OLG see if you can go out. I have a CIX 670 with 3 PRI's can't remember what the lights do,the 2nd and 3rd hardly ever get used.

Steve..

He removed all the trunk ports from trunk assignments. What else does he need to remove for the caller ID stuff? I would think once he deleted all the trunks all the other programing would follow - of course if that's logical then it probably isn't true!!

He can dial out fine on the 2nd PRI, he just can't receive incoming calls!
