I did the same thing wondered why they needed a more cards for a answering machine. But I guess they use 4 slt phones already. Also they called Dan on the phone and he helped them so he has a little more info that was posted.

There is one more option here that has not yet been explored. You can also use a RDSU and if you add a RSTS card it will give you 4 analog and 4 digital extensions rather than using the whole 8 port slot just for anolog. You may need more digital stations in the future.
