Ok, so this is the first time in the dozen or so brand new installs as a Toshiba tehc, that I've had to setup this feature.

Customer previously had a Strata VIe that has apprently lasted them close to 30 years. They have the ability to go into night mode and all the CO's ring in over an external speaker system throughout their plant.

The receiver was also very old and had speaker wire connections from the back of it to the Strata to provide paging and MOH.

I was able to cut open the ends of a dual phono cable and use those two wires to connect to the receiver, got the MOH working fine, and set up the paging over loudspeaker, but I'm a bit unsure of how to set it to ring over the speakers.

Do I just set the Dialing Digits in night mode to #31xx? If so, would the xx be the "virtual" relay 05 that is built into the CIX processor?

Probably an easy one for you experts out there, but I won't be back at customers location for a few days, so I wanted to ask while it was fresh in my mind. Thanks in advance.

#31XX where XX will be the paging group you setup for the paging system.

If the paging system works, as you said it does, then DIT with the same code you used to page over the loud speaker. If the paging group, just as #30, includes internal phones and you only want the paging speaker to ring, then set the relay 05 to it's own paging group and use that code in DIT.

Just know that the call will keep ringing and never go to voicemail.
