Can someone tell me how to program my phone so that it automatically answers the call when I lift the headset when the phone rings?

THanks!

Well what Vodavi system are we talking about?

Russ runs a local service and private tech center.

Not 100% sure... I have a station manual for a Starplus SPD 1428 & SPD 2856 Vodavi Comm system. The phone guy was just here and programmed the phone too ring but of course didnt set it up to answer automatically.

You will have to enter program mode to do this,
do you know the steps?

If you: 1. Don't have a manual or 2. Have never programmed a Vodavi 1428/2856 before---then you may want to contact a local Vodavi tech. This feature is not in a User Guide, but is part of the system programming --best done or at least supervised by an experienced tech. There may be password issues too. I see you are in CA---DrPBX may be close by. Maybe he'll chime in here and have some ideas for you.

Yeah, I'm here. They use a local company that's a little cheaper than us. But as you see, you get what you pay for.
