Does that happen only if you use the two slt port on the system? What about if you use a opx adapter?

It would really take a work around. That's what I was looking for is someone who's made it work to an SLT.

I wonder how it would behave if an SLA is used on a digital port?

Good question Ed. Currently I'm using one of the built in SLT ports and have an SLB pack for 4 more and it fails on both. I wouldn't have even thought to try it with an SLA since they make the SLB pack for the STSe. It would even work if you could push the DND button after it started ringing to send it to the answering machine. Of course DND doesn't work after the fact either.

Have you tried configuring the SLT port as a VM port? If that doesn't work, try calling your favorite distributor and ordering a inskin flash voice-mail.

Larry is onto something here. If you put an extra digital phone that's all-call forwarded to voice mail, set the SLT extension as a voice mail port, don't program any leave/retrieve digits, it should work. Of course, you are out the cost of a phone, but I seem to recall that you can set this up, then remove the phone and it will still work.
