Ok the short version, this has a pathfinder in skin which when the calls come in hit the AA get the options 1,2,3. Options 1 and 2 are set to a hunt group with 2 stations, groups 450 and 451. After a few rings set to hunt groups 452 and 453 respectively each has two stations in this group. This works fine except when both stations are busy. Ex. call AA enter option 1 go to hunt 451 but both phones are busy, you go straight to vm. I'm not sure what I'm missing here, queueing is enabled. Any suggestions would be great or alternate ideas.

I should also say would adding a virtual extension to each hunt group take care of this problem and be the simplest way to do it.

I forgot another question I had, can you have say 101 and 102 in hunt 451 and then in hunt 453 have 103 and 104, can you again put 101 and 102 into the second group as well to have them ring as a group of four.

So ring the first two extensions after say 20 sec ring those first two plus the second two by having the first two in two hunt groups?

All you need to do is add an additional intercom button to each phone (code 645)

Well the first tech support guy I talked to was no help and hung up on me so when I called back in got somebody else who within five minutes said the way to fix this since it has an inskin pathfinder was to change a line in the registry. This was to tell the pathfinder if the first two extentions are busy to go ahead to the next group. I'll see when I get back there next week.

I had this same problem...once I added an intercom button the voice mail (blind transfer to a hunt group) would ring the intercom for 1 ring and then the loop key would start flashing. Before that straight to voice mail. Now it mute rings until the overflow timer expires and then goes to the next group.

I would have tried that but the phones don't have any spare buttons on them. These ladies are using everyone and don't seem to think that there is anything they can live without. I did order a new usb to serial adapter per the suggestion of the last tech I spoke with. So hopefully this will clear up the issues I have getting into the pathfinder. The other problems they called on the other day I had to go outside and shake my head. One was a modem wasn't working, so checked everything out and made a call to myself using the line cord worked just fine. Reset the modem and it works, they said oh I forgot that. Then had a number that they would call out of state it would ring three times go dead air then busy. Must be the phone system according to them. I asked if anyone tried it from a phone other than on the system they said no I dialed on my cell phone got the same thing. They checked and had the right number wrong area code. So these are the type of people I'm dealing with.

The only other way you will get it to work is set the Pathfinder for supervised transfer to the first group as first action and if busy transfer to second group as second action. You set this in extension settings in the Pathfinder. I don't like it that way because when you answer the call you have to listen to the prompt "You have a call" and the PF will not release the call to you until it hears you say something. I spent a lot of time with this transfer to hunt groups...a med practice uses about 10 of them. Are you sure they can't give up one key on the phones?
