Hi,
Are the newer backlit STS phones incompatible with the older KSU's? I know only the STS-e supports the backlight, but is the phone itself supported on the older KSU?

I believe the sts has to be running 1.04 for the backlit phone to work. hopefully someone will chime in on that.

Yes, 1.04 will allow it to work on the STS.
