Can we place ext's in a hunt group without the hunt group showing on the lcd screen.

not that i'm aware of. You could create a vitual port and send calls to it and put a ringing call coverage button for the virtual port on all the phones that you want to ring as a work around. Set the call coverage timer on the vitual port to 1 sec.

I wish Vodavi/Vertical would allow this display to be optionally supressed.
Often I have extensions in hunt groups and don't need or want to display this in the LCD.

I've been complaining about that since the DVX/SPD days, but it fell (and continues to fall) upon deaf ears. Personally, I don't see why a station user needs to know if they are part of a hunt group or not. It isn't as if they can do anything to change it.
Hey, it only took ten years to get RBT on transfers and fixed forwarding to VM. I guess I can't complain.
